For years Republicans have been telling us again and again how terrible Obamacare was. Vote the Republican ticket and we’ll replace it with something much better.
Well they now control the entire government. Where is their “much better” plan?
There is no shortage of models out there. Singapore, Scandinavia and a number of others provide all their citizens far better and more comprehensive coverage than anything that we have here and for about a third of the cost. Why aren’t our Republican legislators studying how they do it and then create an American health plan that builds upon the best ideas developed overseas? Why aren’t they having meetings with doctors? With a variety of sick and disabled people?
I see absolutely no scientific or clinical presence in their deliberations. All they seem to do is take votes – or not.
They have promised a health plan that would give Americans better health, access, and security.
Where the hell is it?
If all the other industrial democracies can do it why can’t we?
